Project Overview

The Car Rental Application is a complete transport management and booking solution built to automate passenger car booking workflows. Manual rental processing leads to booking collisions, pricing errors, and communication gaps. This application digitizes the entire lifecycle, from customer vehicle selection to automated invoicing and rental return surveys.

Dynamic React Frontend & Laravel Backend

We built the vehicle browsing catalog and calendar selector in React to ensure quick search filters and smooth client transitions. The core business rules and payment states are managed by Laravel and a structured MySQL database. Interactive JavaScript calculations determine final rental fees based on pickup dates, vehicle classes, insurance options, and promo codes.

Vehicle Inventory & Availability Logs

The system maintains a real-time availability log. The moment a booking is confirmed, the vehicle is locked out of the catalog for those dates to prevent double booking. The dashboard features a map view tracking vehicle check-out locations, current mileage, and next scheduled service checkups.

Invoicing & Notification Pipelines

To reduce operations overhead, the system automatically generates invoice PDFs and syncs them to client emails. We integrated SMS gateway APIs to send automatic confirmation texts upon successful bookings and warnings to clients 2 hours prior to scheduled return times.

SEO Optimization & Performance

The vehicle pages are optimized using structured schema data (JSON-LD) to display pricing and availability directly in Google search results. The responsive grid adapts perfectly to mobile viewports, maximizing organic search bookings from on-the-go travelers.
